M anage operations related to the production of cell therapy products, ensuring adherence to the current Code of the Federal Regulations (CFR’s) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s).
M anage production operations with an emphasis on quality, safety, and delivery of cell therapies to supply plan.
I nvestigat e and resolv e problems, identify and implement process improvements, and manag e the training and development of personnel.
Minimum BS/BA degree required in biological sciences , engineering, or biotechnology/life sciences
Minimum 7 years of work experience in clinical or commercial biologics or cell therapy manufactur ing under cGMP.
Knowledgeable of the current Code of the Federal Regulations (CFR’s) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s)
Sufficient understanding of processes, systems, and equipment to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions to senior management
Expert knowledge of electronic quality systems
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Good communication skills, effective collaborator, etc ]
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience in autologous cell therapy manufacturing
Minimum 5 years prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
