- Provide clinical expertise to support contract negotiation with Procurement and Legal to ensure that all Master Service Agreements (MSA) and Statements Of Work (SOW) reflect the required services
- Ongoing optimization of the nursing service model for USBU
- Support day-to-day activities with partners to ensure effective and efficient support of our products to the end stakeholder
- Monitor and bring alignment and consistency across service partners to reduce cost and create efficiencies to the nursing service model
- Assess nursing service provider(s) for contract compliance against contracted service fees
- Building and management of budget for nursing services including monthly expense management and reporting, MRP and expense review preparations
- Optimize performance against key KPIs and work closely with internal and external teams to manage and incorporate modifications that enhance the services offered for Takeda products
- Accountable for working with Analytics & Insights team to build and evaluate the necessary data to identify trends, track and enhance operations and utilization of nursing programs and experience
- Lead Patient & Market Access activities to support future product / device launches, including ensuring our nursing partners’ strategies are in line with long- term objectives
- Responsible for building effective working relationships with several internal colleagues across various departments including but not limited to Patient Engagement & Excellence colleagues, Managed Markets, Sales, Medical and Scientific Affairs, Compliance, Device Design, Pharmacovigilance, Finance, Supply Chains, Marketing and Legal regarding all Nursing Services related programs
- Lead Nursing Services team
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- 7+ years of health care industry experience required, Pharmaceutical experience preferred
- 3+ years of Patient Service Operations preferred
- Leadership experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of clinical requirements around product and device administration
- Manage complex projects, think strategically and understand details
- Ability to partner, build relationships and influence decision making within multi-disciplinary teams both internally to Takeda and externally across the pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with various reimbursement mechanisms
- This position requires demonstrated success in managing vendor relationship
- Travel Requirement- 10%, Ability and willingness to travel as needed from home office to various meetings and partners’ sites, including overnight trips

Job Description
Join Takeda as an Associate Director, Nursing Services out of our Lexington, MA office. Where you will be responsible for ensuring that nursing services models for Takeda USBU products are designed strategically to meet the needs of our patients, follow the Health Care Providers request and operate compliantly and seamlessly within the guidelines and objectives of Patient And Market Access (PAMA) and the USBU. As the Associate Director, Nursing Services you will be responsible for leading the Nursing Services team. The Associate Director will also be responsible for leading our strategy with our key partners, designing, implementing and executing all tactics for existing service programs as well as building nurse support programs for future Takeda pipeline products which may require enhanced nursing support services.

Lexington, MAU.S. Base Salary Range:
$149,100.00 - $234,300.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained , certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
