      Position Summary:

      Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Associate Director of Admissions Marketing - Boca Raton, FL

      The Admissions Communications and Marketing Manager develops strategies to communicate key messages to prospects in the admissions funnel via appropriate platforms and channels that include print publications, display advertising, direct mail, etc.), electronic (CRM, traditional web, social media, broadcast, digital marketing, virtual tour, etc.), and emerging media (social media, mobile, etc.). This position plays a critical role in a comprehensive communications plan that leads to the enrollment of a high quality and diverse entering class.

      Collaborates with the Director and Associate Directors of Admissions in the development, execution, and assessment of strategic recruitment marketing plans and campaigns designed to effectively communicate to prospective students the University's institutional identity and value proposition as a leading provider of undergraduate education, doing so in a manner that is consistent with the institutional brand and helps to advance the University's strategic objectives.

      Undertakes and manages a wide range of projects that involve accomplishing specific tasks that include: writing and editing copy, assembling images, coordinating print and video production, managing rankings and college guidebook updates, collecting and analyzing data, monitoring and measuring marketing activity; and generating and delivering reports to ensure that the University's key messages effectively reach relevant audiences via appropriate platforms and channels that include print (publications, display advertising, direct mail, etc.), online (traditional web, social media, student portal, virtual experience, etc.), and broadcast (video and audio).

      Handles all aspects of Enrollment and Marketing Services' marketing and brand development, including researching and implementing current trends in marketing, program and event promotion, developing marketing plans and strategy for undergraduate admission initiatives and fulfills graphic design requests.

      Adheres to communications plans and production schedule, updates existing marketing and communications materials; creates communication tactics to support major events and initiatives for Recruitment, Admissions and Orientation; coordinates publicity for team initiatives; maintains admissions’ profiles on social media and networking channels; coordinates email and mailing lists; and designs and maintains team websites in order to achieve undergraduate enrollment goals for the institution.

      Creates and manages prospective student outreach marketing campaigns and plans in conjunction with Recruiting, Admissions and Orientation team members.

      Maintains and distributes a fresh, smart and engaging e-communications stream to specific targeted audiences including prospective undergraduate students.

      Collaborates with the Division of Public Affairs developing and executing admissions communication strategies targeting prospective students at every stage of the recruitment funnel.

      Assists with ensuring that the Office of Admission adheres to the branding guidelines and standards set by the University and NACAC’s Code of Ethics. Develops strategy for promotional material and marketing collaterals (print material, email, and social media) used in all aspects of the recruitment process. Monitors, evaluates and reports on campaign effectiveness and works closely with the Admissions and Public Affairs teams to ensure campaign deliverables are accurately executed.

      Serves as an Admission Office liaison with FAU's colleges/schools/departments, and other campus-based strategic partners as a frontline liaison, consultant, and project manager on the conceptualization, production, and distribution of integrated print and electronic marketing materials, including admissions publications, website and CRM campaigns.

      Creates and disseminates specialized content for parents, and guidance counselors through written content, social media, and online tools

      Recruits, trains, and supervises student interns to develop content for social media platforms.

      Supervises and manages three AMP marketing positions.

      MARGINAL: Performs additional job related duties and assists with special projects as assigned.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience; or a master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience preferably in Communications and Media Studies.

      Salary:

      $54,000 - $60,000 per year.
