      Your day to day:

      • Conceptualize, develop, design, collaborate, and execute highly visible communication and design strategies, projects, and initiatives while ensuring brand consistency and effectiveness.
      • Engage on brand-focused projects, and help cultivate, integrate, manage, and guide multi-faceted projects through all phases of execution.
      • Serve as back-up for the Director and help manage the design studio and related projects.
      • Develop and execute innovative, creative, and integrated visual approaches to support and enhance multi-tiered branding, marketing, and communications campaigns.
      • Design and creatively inform a variety of strategic communications for print, web, advertising and mail campaigns, social media and digital assets, event-based materials, presentations, etc. that supports the PFW community.
      • Develop visual creative concepts and project specifications for assigned communications materials, including branded initiatives, signature institutional and publications, advertising, web and online assets, and identity development.
      • Meet with University partners and external vendors and help oversee, create, and expand brand on identified projects from concept through completion.
      • Develop and direct highly customized photography, illustration, and related graphic assets.
      • Coordinate and align branding across many brand platforms, while following related campaign assets through stages to ensure quality control.
      • Execute and direct a robust variety of high-end and often technically complex design solutions utilizing leading industry software programs.
      • Provide guidance, support, and best-practice for other team members and maintain expert awareness required to achieve results in a wide variety of evolving design trends.
      • Manage relevant aspects of extensive departmental electronic file resources into organized libraries and archives in accordance with design studio guidelines.
      • Cross-departmental responsibilities for achieving effective collaboration, coordination, and results across both Communications and Marketing and the University.
      • Assist in managing identified initiatives of graphic design staff, freelance staff, and student employees.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      Why we’ll love you:

      • You have worked hard to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in a graphic design, advertising, communications, or related field.
      • You have at least five years of experience in developing design, integrated marketing collateral, identifying systems, branding, communications, marketing pieces, and advertising campaigns.
      • You possess professional experience in a higher education in-house creative team, corporate or nonprofit in-house creative team, or advertising/marketing/branding agency.
      • You are able to demonstrate mastery of leading creative development software, hardware, and file creation.
      • You are proficient in key components of Adobe Creative Cloud, project management systems such as Basecamp, and Macintosh networking, file sharing, and archiving environments.
      • You possess a strong knowledge of core online, digital, social considerations, as well as printing and manufacturing, including pre-press.
      • You have experience in developing high-quality, results-driven communications and marketing materials.
