What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate on strategic direction, fundraising, and partnership building
- Promote mission, values, and theory of change through various communication channels
- Manage project stakeholders and coordinate communication efforts
- Cultivate and support relationships with grantee partners
- Write proposals, budgets, and reports to secure funding
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least five years of experience in philanthropy, grantmaking, or fundraising
- Commitment to racial equity and trust-based philanthropy
- Knowledge of public services and systems serving children and families
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in project management and donor databases
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working for social change as an organizer
- Comfort working across diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
