What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver disease state and product education to patients and caregivers using approved materials
- Educate account nurses and office staff on the Patient Education Manager role and service model
- Serve as a liaison to access teams and partners to address patient-specific needs
- Participate in ongoing refinement of patient engagement strategies and educational materials
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide appropriate education and support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Advanced scientific training or academic credentials establishing strong clinical acumen (Registered Nurse required)
- At least 12+ years of related experience in supporting patients within Rare Disease, or at least 8 years with a master’s degree
- 2+ years of field-based experience in the biopharmaceutical industry preferred
- Proven track record of delivering results that meet or exceed targeted objectives
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge and experience with genetic conditions highly desirable
- Prior product launch experience preferred
- Ability to work quickly and flexibly with resource constraints
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for patient care and exceptional attention to detail
