Manage programs/projects in development where AI/ innovation /Digital is a key element, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards
Building bridges and fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams, both internal and external, when relevant, to define project objectives , deliverables, and milestones
Working hand-in-hand with cross-functional project teams to drive progress and achieve deliverables, even rolling up your sleeves when necessary
Monitoring and analyzing project progress, proactively identifying risks and challenges, and devising strategies to mitigate them
Prepare project reports, impactful presentations, and scientific publications, effectively communicating findings to internal and external stakeholders
Drive implementation of new capabilities into new way s of working
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork among project team member s
Providing objective guidance and acting as a troubleshooting partner for team members during solutioning
Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in development, contributing to the continuous improvement of the team's capabilities
Master's degree in a relevant field (PhD preferred) such as Pharmaceutical science, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or a related discipline
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in R&D within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
Proven track record in (agile) project management, demonstrating the ability to effectively plan, execute, and deliver complex research projects
Experience with AI/digital use cases from clinical development, including POC and pilot work in a clinical setting, besides implementation of innovative solutions
Strong leadership skills with experience in leading teams, coordinating activities, and managing project resources
Excellent stakeholder, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and ac ross levels; SME, directors, VPs, and C-level
Innovative and strategic mindset, results oriented and with an eye towards the bigger picture
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
Familiarity with regulatory guidelines in development and willingness to learn, stay updated and curios of new regulations and technology (preferred).

In line to support and execute on Genmab´s 2030 vision, we are looking for an Associate Director for the Project Management R&D Strategic Initiatives (RDSI) – Development team. RDSI focus on the continued build, strengthening and expansion of the Genmab R&D engine , where cutting-edge technologies , such as artificial intelligence (AI) and digital solutions , are actively incorporated to drive innovation. As an Associate Director, you will join a dynamic, enthusiastic group of Project Managers based in the United States, Denmark, and the Netherlands.
With AI and digital advancement at the forefront of our strategic focus, your role will center on projects where these technologies serve as pivotal catalysts for innovation within Genmab's Development division (such as Safety, Medical, Clinical Operations etc ) . Collaborating with cross-functional teams comprising subject matter experts from various lines of business, as well as supporting departments like data science, intellectual property, legal, IT&D, and quality assurance, you'll steer use cases from proof of concept to pilot, scale-up, and implementation.
The Associate Director, RDSI- Development will report to Team lead, RDSI -Development.
