- Accountable for successfully leading and managing a team of up to x8 Principal Scrum Masters, as well as acting as a role model to others across the enterprise more broadly to foster a culture of Agile ways of working
- Accountable for the successful orchestration and delivery of Accelerator Team program management, governance and benefits realization, across EU, GC&I and EM Regions.
- Responsible for supporting the Commercial & Medical Heads of the team with ad-hoc requests and requirements in a Chief of Staff remit
- Responsible for helping to shape the strategic direction of the team, bringing outside industry insight into team strategic and operational planning
- Oversee team programme governance and standardised processes & operations across the Regions, with clear documentation.
- Manage and lead, to a high standard, the various team meeting calendar and events at programme level and continuously demonstrate improvements and application of lessons learned, i.e. team review & retros, monthly team meetings, leadership meetings, MPRs, risk management meetings
- Oversee Accelerator team programme management and tracking across EU, GC&I and EM Regions, holding Snr Principle Scrum Master team to account and supporting as needed
- Oversee team performance reporting and updates to Senior Leadership across GSK
- Produce high quality summarised material (where required) for input into forums or for senior stakeholder consumption, i.e. MPR slide deck creation, material to GLT Board meetings, ad hoc snr management requests etc
- Oversee successful delivery of agreed projects/ MVPs across the team, making sure all outputs and learnings are documented and shared across the enterprise as relevant
- Lead the co-ordination and preparation for Accelerator Team MPR meetings with snr leadership (monthly performance reviews)
- Oversee Accelerator Team budget management, financial forecasting and invoice processing, handling a budget of ~£4m across a P&L of ~£500m
- Oversee supplier management and service level delivery, holding suppliers to account and resolving issues in a speedy manner, i.e. global media agencies, translation agencies, MOC,
- Lead and chair monthly Risk & Compliance meetings, holding all stakeholders and Accelerator Leadership Team to account for actions, decisions, CAPAs and management monitoring
- Stakeholder interface in GSK will span all layers of the organization up to SVP level, with a highly complex network
- 15+ years of experience and MBA or equivalent
- Proven track record in Agile programme management principles and tools
- Experience of leading functional aspects of projects e.g. project charters, weekly reports, risks & issues logs, governance forum facilitation, stakeholder expectation management
- Experience of Pharma/FMCG or similar
- Large scale business transformation experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills and the ability to work flexibly across a global organization.
- Senior stakeholder managements skills and experience engaging senior business customers.

Job Purpose
This role will help shape the strategic direction of the team and oversee all team operations from a programme management perspective. An entrepreneurial mindset and leadership style is key to ensuring the team is set up for success and evolves in line with the forever changing internal and external digital landscape.
This role will have 3 direct reports immediately, growing to likely 8 direct reports by end 2023.
