      About this opportunity

      You’ll be part of a client facing origination, structuring & execution team with a long-established position of prominence in the UK and broader European securitisation markets, specialising in mortgage related financing.

      Within Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM), the Securitised Products Group (SPG) team are currently looking for an Associate Director to join them. The Securitisation team are part of the Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) Capital Markets business and is based in London and New York. You’ll be part of a team that structures, markets and distributes asset backed securities transactions globally for financial and corporate clients as well as providing both syndicated and bilateral asset-backed funding and derivatives to financial and corporate clients.

      You’ll support Lloyds’ clients across the Financial Institutions (FI) sector predominantly focused on mortgages, autos, consumer credit and also extending to other asset classes regularly originated by bank and non-bank financial originators. You’ll be liaising with team members and the client coverage function along with other teams in the Capital Markets business to identify opportunities for Lloyds in the FI space.

      You’ll manage agency and balance sheet transactions through the cycle: origination, structuring, execution and ongoing risk management, working on all aspects of the transaction including a focus on managing rating agency / cash flow modelling as part of Arranger and securitisation lending mandates. This also includes producing pitch books and marketing materials regularly and actively involved in origination.

      What you’ll need

      • Some origination, structuring and execution experience, in a securitisation team within a financial institution or in an equivalent setting.
      • Ability to build relationships and effectively manage a variety of stakeholders.
      • Strong communication and analytical skills coupled with a collaborative approach to client delivery.
      • Be organised as well as have the ability to manage and prioritise multiple deliverables in a timely and effective manner.

      And any experience of these would be really useful

      • Familiar with optimisation techniques and proficient in Excel with additional experience of cash flow modelling in Intex, VBA, SQL and MatLab.

      This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime as either requiring mandatory qualifications or being deemed as a role capable of providing ‘significant harm’ to customers. Due to this, successful candidates will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting, and required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on commencement in role.       If you manage certified colleagues this role will be identified as Manager of certification employees under SYSC 27.8.13R as defined in the FCA Handbook(1) The function of managing or supervising a certification employee, directly or indirectly, is an FCA-specified significant-harm function.(2) A function in (1) is not an FCA certification function for that firm if it is performed by an SMF manager of that firm.
