      Position Summary:
      The Associate Director, Strategy & Operations, will drive the definition and execution of strategy for the U.S. Commercial Hematology organization. They will ensure matrix collaboration, communication, and prioritization for projects, initiatives, and operations. As a key stakeholder in the organization, this position closely partners with Commercial Leadership and a requires a high-level of coordination across the matrix organization to deliver on core capabilities and business insights.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Ensure the definition and execution of strategic initiatives for the U.S. Commercial Hematology Organization by:

      • Effectively partnering with matrix stakeholders across BMS to deliver on project and operational activities

      • Managing operational processes related to the development and execution of division leadership meetings:

        • Supporting agenda development

        • Coordinating the development and delivery meeting materials

        • Performing quality assurance reviews and implementing feedback needed (e.g., with Leadership/ Legal/Finance) for meeting materials

        • Sharing action items and following up on time sensitive requests

      • Leading the operational pull through of the annual Commercial Choice Framework process and supporting strategic Brand Planning and Tactical Planning development across the organization

      • Proactively managing project risks, escalating challenges appropriately and follow through to resolution

      • Partnering with U.S. Hematology Strategy & Operations ADs to prioritize topics for executive leadership presentations

      • Collaborating with Director, U.S. U.S. Hematology Strategy & Operations to outline, prioritize and scope key franchise initiatives during annual planning

      • Leading the planning and execution of key division events such as: quarterly U.S. Hematology Townhalls, LLS Light The Night Campaign and Events, Commercial Manager’s Meeting, Brand Planning Processes and Congress Coordination – key responsibilities include:

        • Collaborate with U.S. Hematology Strategy & Operations lead to set goals and objectives at project initiation

        • Organize, facilitate, and develop materials for stakeholder collaboration meetings

        • Drive the development of project deliverables as the sole content creator or project manager

        • Effectively and frequently communicate project updates to entire project team

        • Simultaneously lead multiple workstreams, across parallel projects to ensure deliverables are successfully completed on time, on budget and within project scope

        • Monitor and perform quality assurance activities for each individual project

        • Solicit feedback across various stakeholder groups and lead the workstream discussions to implement solutions to maximize efficiencies and accelerate opportunities for improvement

        • Lead the overall strategic execution of each project

        • Manage multiple project budgets

        • Collaborate with multiple internal BMS and external stakeholders

      • Leading the development and execution of a comprehensive Engagement Strategy for US Hematology:

      • Objectives will focus on establishing engagement plan, execution of activities, and coordinating efforts across multiple teams

      • Leading special projects across the U.S. Hematology Strategy & Operations team as business demands

      SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

      • The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, solutions-oriented and proactively collaborative partner with demonstrated experiences in project management and commercialization operations. We value someone who has exceptional communication skills and can adapt to changing stakeholder needs to successfully support the business.

      • Bachelor's degree required

      • 5+ years of experience in the Healthcare industry, with Marketing, Medical, and/or Field experience required

      • Strong project and process management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize

      • Strong influence/negotiation skills and relationship management capabilities; experience working in a highly matrixed organization

      • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to perform complex quantitative and qualitative analysis - ability to bring strategy and analysis to a tactical, executable level; results-oriented

      • Demonstrated ability to successfully and effectively collaborate and build strong relationships across Matrix partners

      • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

      • Strong commitment to personal and professional growth

      • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines

      • Expert listening skills and ability to probe for undisclosed information

      • Capable of engaging senior leadership and external agency/vendor partners

      • Strong facilitation and communication skills in management internal and external stakeholder collaboration

      • Willingness to support project needs outside of your immediate role at the discretion of the Director, U.S. Commercial Hematology as business demands
