Sets program strategy, vision, and tactical direction for program execution by multifunctional team(s) and subcontractors.
Responsible for meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations.
Develops program enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations, such as contracts, finance, procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions.
Convey to customer program status and performance. Additionally, anticipates and fulfills customer needs to ensure their satisfaction and continued business.
Execute daily program cadence i.e., risk review boards, customer reviews, failure review boards, program milestones, and decision reviews to achieve contract commitments.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure integrated master schedule aligns with program strategies, objectives, and milestones.
Capture staffing projections and work with Control Account Managers (CAMs) to meet program goals and timelines.
Coordinates customer program reviews, prepare for customer visits, coordinate/prepare and deliver Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) to include Monthly Status Reports, Integrated Program Management Reports, and Contract Funds Status Reports, Integrated Baseline Reviews, and Schedule Risk Assessments in accordance with contractual requirements.
Ability to operate independently to navigate organizational complexities and to obtain resources (through influence) to move initiatives forward.
Demonstrated ability to balance technical, cost, and schedule constraints to achieve customer success.
Must have a minimum of 12 years deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple related departments.
Proposal capture experience
Working knowledge and understanding of Program Management tools/systems; preferably with PRISM, MOCAS, EVMS, IPDS, and the PMX Tool Suite or related tools.
Experience with financial analysis tools
Working knowledge of contract formation and execution
Must have experience managing portfolio risk and opportunity, in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.
Demonstrated ability to balance technical, cost, and schedule constraints to achieve customer success.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain long-term business relationships with current and potential customers and partners.
Demonstrated success presenting program status and issues to customer audiences (internal and external) in a clear, concise, and decisive manner. Persuasive communication and influencing techniques.
Ability to address multiple issues and set priorities.
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience.
Proven leadership abilities: preferably in either an IPT (Integrated Product Team) organizational structure and/or an IPT construct, thus demonstrating abilities to work across functional boundaries.
Experience interfacing with US Army, US Navy and international customers
Experience in the Defense or Aerospace industry

The Converged Solutions Portfolio is seeking to hire an Associate Director located in Fort Wayne, Indiana at Collins Aerospace. The Associate Director will report directly to the Battle Management C2 Capabilities Director within Mission Systems. The Associate Director will be responsible for managing and executing a mix of international and domestic Artillery Tactical Data System programs.
This role will also require an individual to maintain and continue to strengthen our domestic and international customer relationships. As the portfolio lead, the Assoc. Director will also be responsible for staffing, managing, and developing the Program Management team within the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) portfolio.
The AFATDS Command and Control Portfolio is seeking to hire an Associate Director located in Fort Wayne, Indiana at Collins Aerospace.

This position is based in Fort Wayne, Indiana and requires some international and domestic travel.
