      This position is for an Engineering First Line Manager (FLM) to support the Platform, Comms and ISR Integration (PCISR) organization that is a part of the Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) Engineering & Technology (E&T) organization at the LM Valley Forge site in King of Prussia, PA.

      What We're Doing
      Engineers in the PCISR organization support multiple Programs within the Valley Forge E&T portfolio including Aegis, the Advanced Sensor Technology Program, Aircraft Media Gateway, and U-2 Datalinks. They provide valuable technical capability to support software development, integration and testing, and systems engineering activities on these Programs.
      The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions for a team supporting primarily U-2 Datalinks.

      The Work
      As a First Line Manager (FLM), you will:
      • Be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions
      • Enable and manage the performance of talented, multi-disciplined engineering teams by setting and clearly communicating organizational vision, expectations, and objectives
      • Facilitate the deployment and use of best practices, tools, and processes on our programs and work with the cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are staffed properly and the organization’s staff is meeting all business commitments
      • Hold a technical programmatic role in addition to your FLM responsibilities

      #RMSC6ISR - Bachelors Degree or higher in a science and technology related programs or equivalent experience.
      - In depth knowledge and demonstrable experience with application of systems engineering, SW testing, and/or software development engineering principles.
      - Proven leadership experience in engineering assignments and successful proven results in leading and executing multi discipline programs
      - Ability to deal with competing priorities, outstanding effective communication skills, and a strong track record of team-building.
      - Strong and proven understanding of the Engineering development process. - Prior experience and knowledge of U-2 Systems Engineering and/or SW development efforts
      - Prior Lead Systems Engineering, Lead Software Engineer or project management experience
      - Experience and knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working on large-scale DoD SW development programs.
