Job Description

A multi-billion long-only, large-cap equity fund is seeking an Associate Equity Analyst to join our team of dedicated investment professionals. Our investment approach is long-term and fundamentally driven, with a focus on outperforming the S&P 500 by identifying competitively advantaged companies that generate high returns on capital and growing cash flows.

This position works closely with senior investment professionals, including the portfolio manager, providing exposure to high-level decision-making processes. In addition to working with the immediate team, analysts will have the opportunity to collaborate with other equity and investment teams across the investment department, reflecting our strong collaborative culture. Responsibilities

• Perform bottom-up fundamental analysis, primarily focused on healthcare, with potential to expand into other sectors.
• Analyze company performance, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors to generate actionable investment insights.
• Prepare detailed research reports on existing portfolio holdings and companies under consideration.
• Collaborate with team members to gather data and create internal and external presentation materials.
• Be a proactive team player, ready to assist in ad-hoc research projects, support technology initiatives, and contribute to other firm-wide projects as needed.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-4 years of experience in equity research (buy-side or sell-side).
• Strong research skills, including proficiency in both primary and secondary data analysis.
• Excellent quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently, and collaborate effectively within teams.
• Experience in or covering the healthcare industry is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is ($90,000.00 - $145,000.00). Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary incentive based on individual and company performance.
