      Moog, Inc. is looking for an Associate ERP Process Analyst – Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

      Moog Aerospace & Defense (A&D) , which includes our Aircraft Group and Space and Defense Group, has embarked on an exciting ERP transformation journey that will take us from our legacy, custom ERP / Manufacturing Execution System to an S/4HANA (SAP) / Solumina (iBASEt) solution set. This will be a multi-year project, and this role will be working in the A&D Manufacturing Execution System (MES) team from the initial discovery and strategic transformation phase, through design, build, testing and into successful deployment of the MES system, across the A&D sites. The strategy is to develop a standard Manufacturing Template that will be configured to the size/complexity of individual A&D sites.

      The purpose of this business-focused role is to assist with gathering business requirements, liaising with site based Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and developing an integrated scalable MES solution. This individual will aid in the consolidation of site-specific business requirements, identify and test improved business processes, support master data cleansing, support training of system users and stabilization efforts post go live. This role requires significant communication, and influencing skills for collaboration and teamwork across Moog, especially with our Engineering and IT teams in addition to our global A&D facilities.

      Here's what to expect on a day-to-day basis:

      • You will assist with the identification, design and implementation of efficient solutions for the MES software. You must have the technical expertise and business process knowledge for definition/development of the MES solution.
      • Create and maintain good working relationships with the software provider/integration partners and larger ERP project team, with the ability to make decisions and escalate issues proactively.
      • You will contribute with compiling MES/business specific processes and with excellent communication skills, gather business requirements from a variety of stakeholders that can be mapped into Process Value Stream Maps/system blueprints.
      • You will aid in analyzing and understanding business needs from an end-to-end perspective, taking into account MES, ERP and other supporting IT systems, to ensure that efficient business processes are implemented, and a digital thread established.
      • You will support unit, functional and system integration testing of ERP/MES applications including key Operational Technology. This will include working with the team on validating the template configuration meets all known site requirements.
      • Together with the Business Adoption team, support with the facilitation of testing and user training sessions to ensure end users are prepared for deployment and any remaining gaps in functionality are identified.
      • Assist with MES business readiness activities in preparation for formal Go-Live and ensure it is successfully stabilized following deployment.
      • Support the Continuous improvement of Moog’s A&D MES Template against industry best practice/business feedback and assist in reviewing/testing functionality gained from software’s updates.
      • Maintain documentation related to the MES Solutions, including but not limited to Process Definition Documents (PDDs), Blueworks Live (BWL) Process Flows, Test Scripts, Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), Enable Now Simulations, Training PowerPoints, Functional Specification Documentation (FSDs), Workshop Presentations and Demos.
      • Schedule key meeting invitations for training and tag-ups with stakeholders.
      • Perform the duties of Jira Scrum Master – maintain User Stories, Backlog, complete Retrospectives.
      • Work with the business to identify and create any KPIs and metrics required by the business.

      Here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

      • Typically, a bachelor’s degree desirable or equivalent; Business or substantial/progressive work experience.
      • Excellent working knowledge of Aircraft Group and/or Space & Defense business systems, processes and products
      • Hands-on experience and knowledge in respective area of business processes (Knowledge desired includes: Understanding of OEM Work Instruction Authoring and shop floor processes (ex - CAMS/IWIN/Solumina), Product Life Cycle Mgt processes (TeamCenter), Quality Management processes (ex – TIPQA/Solumina), Operations relevant KPIs and Metrics).
      • Basic understanding of ERP and MES systems and functionality
      • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, energetic, change agent and self-starter
      • Demonstrated ability to communicate succinctly with all levels of the organization and experience in working with external consultants/organizations – both written and verbal
      • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

      The base pay range for this opportunity is $76,876.80 - $125,000.00. per year.

      The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
