      Associate Finance Manager, Global Admin Analytics Team - Compensation OVERVIEW: The Global Admin Analytics Team (GAAT) is on a journey to modernize our processes and maximize enterprise value by bringing relevant, data-driven insights to our stakeholders through external insight and modern technology. This is an opportunity to play a critical financial leadership role for the enterprise in the area of Compensation, where the company spends over $1.0B annually. The role provides significant cross-functional global experiences, the ability to shape corporate strategy and the opportunity to develop compensation thought leadership across a diverse set of business partners in HR, Finance, GSS and D&T. This high visibility, impactful role offers the opportunity to build financial expertise in the Corporate Segment to help enable Global compensation initiatives. The role will be responsible for critical Enterprise compensation processes relating to incentives, Spring Plan and monthly reporting. It will play an important and influential financial leadership role in shaping planning and reporting capabilities as part of the Holistic Workforce Planning (HWP) transformation initiative. Lastly, this position will have an opportunity to indirectly lead, build and develop an analyst in India. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Lead the Spring Plan compensation process (>$1.0B) by providing process excellence and effective cross-functional communication Key partner/lead on annual incentive planning, forecasting and reporting processes Provide financial leadership on the global Holistic Workforce Planning (HWP) compensation transformation project Leverage a continuous improvement mindset to drive process efficiencies within GAAT and with cross-functional business partners Build strong relationships internally within GAAT, with Segment, Global Function and Global Accounting finance business partners, as well as with cross-functional teams in HR, D&T and GSS Lead, build and develop an indirect compensation-focused analyst in India Support other compensation-related initiatives as needed MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics 5 years minimum of finance work experience Strong critical thinking and ability to apply a risk-based lens (Risk Management) Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders to act via effective communication and presentation (Partnership for Impact) High sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to be proactive and respond quickly to changes (Situational Agility) Track record of being accurate, detail-oriented and analytically proficient Ability to approach situations with a learning mindset to drive new capabilities and process efficiencies PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting (Planning Acumen) History of coaching and providing feedback to develop team members (Build all Players) Cross-functional project management experience ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS: This is a Minneapolis based role, Work with Heart will be considered International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $90100.00 - $135300.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
