- Assist with the sector monthly and quarterly financial close deliverables
- Maintain month-end closing documentation
- Supplemental & Unallowable reporting
- S4 iBuy shopping carts
- Journal entries for routine and non-routine activity
- Property/Casualty insurance allocations including analysis & interface with Corporate
- Facilities reporting, consolidation & analysis
- PR Suspense reporting & distribution
- Provide financial analysis support for other projects as assigned
- above Associate Financial Analyst responsibilities and duties
- Transfer Pricing coordination and entry monthly
- Quarterly compliance reporting coordination
- Assistance with annual forward pricing rate proposal validation and packaging
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field must have 4 years of experience in lieu of degree w/ High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work onsite in McLean, Virginia.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience or a Master’s degree and 1 years of relevant experience, Must have 7 years of experience in lieu of degree w/ High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to work onsite in McLean, Virginia.
- Experience with S4, 1FPRS, NGFP and/or Cognos
- Advance proficiency in MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience in the aerospace and defense industry
- Self-motivated, yet functions well in a team environment
- Detail and results oriented; ability to deliver timely and accurate results under time sensitive conditions
- Analytical; makes recommendations using acquired data and cumulative experience.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Associate Financial Analyst/ Financial Analyst.
This position will report to the Manager of Sector Rates and perform financial analyst activities for our Defense Systems Sector. This high impact role will work closely with sector and division business management teams. The position is located in McLean, VA.
