      The Associate Financial Advisor position is for someone looking to grow in the industry as you support and partner with a group of seasoned Financial Advisors. You will work to support and deepen relationships with a very large existing client base. The Financial Advisor is responsible for working with clients to help determine the best way to serve the client’s best interest with investment products and financial services Cetera offers. With a strong focus on client service and sales, the Associate Financial Advisor should be a true “people person” who enjoys developing professional and mutually beneficial relationships with a wide variety of clientele. We will fully support you with an open product platform and resources in the financial industry so you can nurture relationships with clients. This position will be located out of our Saint Cloud, MN office with the ability to work from home on Fridays.

      What You Will Be Doing:

      • Collecting and analyzing information regarding the client risk tolerance, long- and short-term goals, income, assets, investments, and debts; determining which products best meet client needs and circumstances.
      • Advising clients regarding the advantages, risks, and disadvantages of different investment opportunities
      • Developing internal referral resources to identify existing clients
      • Understanding and complying with all aspects of Cetera policies and practices, including laws and regulations governing the duties and responsibilities of product sales
      • Maintaining all necessary licenses and registrations as required
      • Successfully completing all mandatory training in a timely manner
      • Maintaining superior and courteous service to promote Cetera and expand client relationships
      • Exceeding client expectations in terms of accuracy, efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism

      What you need to have:

      • Strong communication skills
      • 1+ years sales, marketing, and/or business development skills
      • Motivation to obtain a FINRA 7 licensing within six months of hire (company sponsored)
      • 4-year college degree
      • Prior experience in the financial industry
      • 1+ years of experience with investments, insurance and/or advisory relationships

      Compensation Range:

      The base annual salary range for this role is $55,500, plus a competitive incentive compensation package. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
