The foundational DNA of our brand is resonant across generations, timeless, and ripe for building upon. Our next step is to bring Glossier to more people in more places. We are inclusive, customer-devoted, curious, courageous, discerning, and results-driven.

We are looking for a highly motivated FP&A Associate to support our Corporate Finance function and our Retail channel. As an FP&A Associate, you will be an integral part of the Finance team working to lay the financial foundation for our next phase of growth. The person in this role will drive key analytical and financial modeling exercises that are essential to creating financial visibility and supporting key strategic decisions.

      6 Month Expectations

      • Assist with updating, maintaining and enhancing the Retail P&L, the consolidated monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts
      • Maintain forecast accuracy to continuously reduce variation and improve the forecasting process
      • Generate timely and accurate financial analyses, reports, and presentations for executives to support sound decision making
      • Assist with investor materials, including Board presentations and investor requests
      • Partner with the Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely data
      • Partner cross-functionally to understand and model existing and emerging business strategies and (or) partnerships with a focus on ROI and broader financial impact
      • Monitor dashboards and financial statements to understand the impact of current initiatives and to help identify risks and opportunities
      • Drive automation throughout both the forecasting and reporting processes
      • Become familiar with Glossier’s brand, culture, values, and existing financial processes

      12+ Month Expectations

      • Evolve the company-wide forecast process, including Retail, cash, inventory, working capital and capital expenditures
      • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support both short- and long-term strategic plans
      • Use internal databases to build key business reports and dashboards that can be leveraged by Senior Management
      • Contribute to Glossier’s success through sponsorship of positive partnerships with staff across the organization

      Qualifications

      • Passionate about Glosser’s mission and values of being inclusive, devoted to the customer, curious, courageous, discerning, and results-driven
      • 2+ years of investment banking, management consulting, FP&A or corporate finance experience at a leading company
      • Exceptional financial modeling skills and excellent presentation preparation (e.g. Powerpoint or Google slides) skills
      • Strong grasp of key Accounting concepts, including a high degree of comfort with the 3-financial statements and how they connect to each other
      • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects at the same time and navigating ambiguity
      • Exceptional attention to detail
      • Team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and drive to succeed

Compensation for the role will be determined based on permissible, non discriminatory factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
