Job Description
- Req#: 32756042318
- Manage employment-related litigation including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage disputes, and other employment claims.
- Represent the organization in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
- Provide legal counsel to management and HR on employment law issues.
- Develop strategies for litigation defense and legal risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations applicable to healthcare.
- Develop and deliver training on employment law topics.
- Maintain records and report on litigation trends and legal risks.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar in IL, NJ, PA, or CA.
- Minimum of 5 years of employment litigation experience, preferably in hospital systems or healthcare.
- In-house legal experience preferred.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience in healthcare legal issues and in-house legal departments.
- Ability to provide strategic legal guidance aligned with healthcare operations.
