What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide legal support and advice, including interpreting laws, rules, and regulations
- Negotiate and draft contracts and other legal documents
- Advise company personnel on legal requirements affecting operations
- Promote and support corporate compliance with policies and regulations
- Identify and analyze legal issues, presenting clear recommendations to management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- JD or LLB from an ABA accredited law school
- Bar admission and eligibility to practice in Arizona
- Five years of experience as a practicing attorney
- Working knowledge of personal computers, including word-processing skills
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills to provide legal services effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Eight or more years as a practicing attorney, including at least five years in a law firm setting
- Three years of experience in health care law
- Additional related education and/or experience
