Overview
Associate General Counsel. Provide in-house legal services to Country Offices primarily in Latin America. Review & negotiate agreements, grants, contracts, MOUs in English & Spanish. Advise on contract issues, disputes, compliance, IP, etc. Must have JD or LLM & be admitted to a US state bar. 4 yrs exp as an attorney for transnational entity. Exp reviewing & negotiating funding proposals, term sheets & legal agreements for projects targeting climate change & working with donors & counterparties, i.e. multilateral & bilateral agencies, govts. & private sector. Exp preparing financial instruments for cross-border transactions. Must have the ability to read, write & speak Spanish. Apply: www.worldwildlife.org/about/careers
