      Job Overview:

      LPL’s Marketing Solutions department is seeking an associate graphic designer with a digital marketing background. In this position, you will assist marketing consultants who are the marketing point person for several LPL advisors. You will aid in the development of the marketing consultant’s digital marketing strategy by creating and designing assets for our advisors. Some of which include: monthly content calendar graphics, email design, social media posts, themed infographics, video editing, and additional ad hoc advisor requests. You will leverage strong design skills, an eye for accuracy, brand consistency, and a knack for making complex things simple in order to help create digital content for LPL advisors.

      Responsibilities:

      Partner with Marketing Consultants by creating graphics to support LPL advisor's overall marketing strategy.

      • Graphic creation and video editing for social media posts

      • Infographics, companion imagery, and/or graphics for blogs, email, websites, and more

      • Implement firm’s branding

      Attend LPL advisor calls to gain a better understanding of the following:

      • Goals

      • Personality

      • Practice/Business

      • Content preferences

      • Existing clients and/or prospects

      • Complex projects

      Develop advisor branding materials, including, but not limited to:

      • Brand guidelines

      • Event materials

      • PowerPoint presentations

      • Firm brochures

      • Landing page designs

      Collaborate with Marketing Consultants to leverage the LPL advisor’s digital ad spend to achieve the following:

      • Brand awareness

      • Demand generation

      • Engagement

      • Enhanced client communication

      Collaborate with the Marketing Solutions Content team to deliver on the following items:

      • Creation of custom graphics

      • Development of content templates

      • Ebook designs

      What are we looking for?

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree

      • 2+ years’ experience in marketing and/or design.

      Preferences:

      • Bachelor’s degree in digital production, design, communication or related field.

      • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop, and Premier Pro), Canva, and Wave.

      • Solid understanding of digital production, including using style sheets, branding, template creation, and troubleshooting technical issues in graphic files.

      • Working knowledge of video editing and best practices for social media.

      • Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms.

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

      • Ability to work independently, as well as be a team player.

      • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.

      • Strong organizational and project management skills.

      • Financial services experience a plus, not required.

      • FMG experience is a plus, not required.


      Pay Range:

      $24.42-$36.63/hour


      Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
