What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor aggregated security events to detect malicious activity
- Ensure proper handling of security incidents for containment and remediation
- Perform detailed analysis of security incidents using available data
- Evaluate external threats and vulnerabilities for applicability to the environment
- Produce actionable intelligence in the form of reports, cases, and notifications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- 0 years of experience required; alternatively, 2+ years of experience in Information Security, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field in lieu of a degree
- Technical proficiency rating of novice on the Dreyfus cybersecurity scale for internal applicants
