- Developing a deep understanding of the real estate market by obtaining the latest market and industry research, historical information, and trends
- Creating and organizing a detailed database for tenant pursuits and proactively prospecting, scheduling and meeting with prospective tenants
- Extensive cold calling, face-to-face prospecting, and other business development practices
- Set meetings with Industrial users
- Contributing to building tours, presentations, drafting proposals, and report preparation
- Responsible for tracking and collecting market level data and comps for their submarket
- Maintaining daily interaction with clients and prospective clients
- Participate in firm marketing and business development opportunities
- Performing complex financial modeling and analysis
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required. MSRE, MBA, CFA, CCIM or SOIR preferred.
- 1-3 years similar client business development or internship experience preferred.
- An understanding of client needs and dedication to service
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership experience, sales and negotiating skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Working knowledge of Excel
- General understanding of CRM software and tools
- Ability to be an independent worker with a team player attitude
- Must be able to succeed in an environment that values individual perspectives and encourages sharing of information and ideas, while driving towards common goals
- Bilingual in Mandarin a plus

Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
As an Industrial Associate in Commercial Real Estate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the leasing, acquisition, and sales of industrial properties. This position is part of a larger, dynamic, national program aimed at expanding and optimizing industrial real estate operations. You will be responsible for business development activities which include researching market trends, assisting with property valuations, preparing client presentations, and contributing to negotiations and transactions. Working alongside senior teams, you will help drive the strategy for growth and development in the industrial sector while gaining exposure to various aspects of commercial real estate in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
