- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field Or equivalent educ/experience
- Master's Degree Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology and related health science field Or equivalent educ/experience
- Upon hire: a-IPC
- 2 years of Healthcare and/or Epidemiology related experience
The Associate Infection Preventionist is the entry-level position for Infection Prevention. A candidate for this position must have a sufficient healthcare background but requires only basic infection prevention/epidemiology knowledge, as the majority of training will occur on the job.
