      Position Summary

      Under general supervision, the Associate Information Technology Project Manager assists in the management of implementing information technology projects. Key duties include defining project scope and requirements of basic to moderately-complex projects, assisting Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and Program Managers, contributing to product selection, planning project
      deliverables, basic project budgeting and managing internal and external resources in the completion of assigned projects.

      Responsibilities

      • Manages assigned aspects of Information Technology projects including initiating, planning, execution, implementation and closure.
      • Manages people included on project teams as they contribute to all phases of projects and execution of project tasks.
      • Identifies stakeholders, develops project charters and works with stakeholders to determine and document agreed upon project scope and requirements.
      • Develops and maintains detailed project plans schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
      • Monitors and assists in management including resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans; develops communication and training plans; and supports development of requirements documentation.
      • Guides a variety of technical resources and functional team members to determine best methods to achieve project objectives.
      • Assists in the management of internal and external project resources. Assists with the development of contractual agreements, scope and statement of work documents, and service level agreements for technical services in conjunction with internal teams, vendor partners and global resources firms. Assists with vendor contract negotiation and development.
      • Ensures adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables.
      • Analyzes department workflows and assists with process analysis and change.
      • Ensures all project documentation including meeting agenda/minutes resides on project SharePoint sites.
      • Delivers weekly updates of the project status, scope, schedule and cost.
      • Assists in the management of project budgets, budget reporting, and approving project expenses. • Assists in managing project change, risk, issues and communications.
      • Contributes to post-project review and develops Lessons Learned.
      • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
      • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
      • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of management.
      • Understands and assists with improving and defining business processes both within and outside of Information Technology (IT).
      • Expedites customer issues as needed.

      Qualifications

      Education/Training

      • Bachelor’s degree, OR one of the following:

      o Associate’s degree and two (2) years of directly related work experience in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section.

      o High School diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of directly related work experience in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section.

      • Knowledge of IT Project Management methodologies.
