Position

Mackenzie Investments is seeking to add an Associate Investment Analyst to its Multi Asset Strategies Team. As a member of this successful investment team your major responsibilities will be to support and maintain existing processes, enhance code quality and automation, contribute to attribution and monitoring systems.

The main responsibilities:

• Software development in Python and Pandas
• Support existing daily investment processes
• Contribute to attribution and monitoring systems
• Enhance code quality and automation

Minimum requirements:

• Self-motivated, flexible, adaptable, and demonstrates initiative
• Strong problem-solving skills
• High level of attention to detail, the ability to react positively to changing priorities and to work as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a quantitative discipline (such as Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or Physics)
• Exceptional programming skills in Python and Pandas
• Excellent code management skills: documentation, testing, using source control system(git)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Mongo DB
• Genuine interest in the quantitative investment and research process.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exposure and experience with portfolio optimization is an asset
• Exposure and experience with LLM is an asset
