We are currently seeking to recruit an Associate for LITA (Lloyds’s International Trading Advice) on a 6 Month (FTC) Fixed Term Contract, to support the provision of international regulatory and compliance consultancy services to the Lloyd’s market, contributing to the maintenance of Lloyd’s international trading rights
The International Regulatory Affairs (IRA) department plays a vital role in supporting the Global Network, protecting and developing Lloyd’s trading rights including provision of prudential reporting, providing thought leadership in the international regulatory environment, sustaining Lloyd’s relationships and credibility with international regulators, setting standards for the Lloyd’s market as a compliant and ethical (re)insurer and protecting Lloyd’s brand and reputation.
The role of the Lloyd’s International Trading Advice (LITA) team is to protect Lloyd’s reputation and trading position by ensuring the Lloyd’s market understands and has, through the provision of a variety of IRA maintained tools and services, accurate and timely information on its compliance requirements.
Principal Accountabilities
Provide international regulatory services: Support the market on regulatory and business conduct requirements and Lloyd’s trading rights. Proactivity and initiative required. to deliver responses to market enquiries, meeting expected standards of accuracy and agreed timeframes.
Provide training on Lloyd’s regulatory tools (Crystal, Risk Locator, Stamp Decision Tool) both on an ad-hoc basic and as part of LITA’s key initiatives, including the promotion of the regulatory tools e-learning module.
Conduct Compliance tools’ content reviews – e.g. Crystal reviews (Lloyds trading rights database), QA Tool and Risk Locator in respect of allocated territories and timeframes, ensuring that information is accurate and clear Maintain an audit trail of all content charges
Support the technical maintenance of LITA’S regulatory tools, identifying, communicating the resolving issues whey they arise.
Publish regulatory and sanctions communications, including the Weekly Digest, E-Alerts, Market Bulletins and IRA content on Lloyds.com, acting as IRA’’s representative on communications matters.
Support regulatory change management activities, working closely with the other teams in IRA.
Conduct regular reviews of LITA’s policies and procedure guides, seeking to maintain and enhance there as required.
Support LITA’s access framework by managing subscription services and the user bases, responding to access queries from the market within SLA.
Skills Knowledge and Experience
Experience of stakeholder management and customer services
Experience in communicating complex information, to diverse stakeholders, clearly
Familiarity with the Lloyd’s market, the London market and the insurance industry
Relationship building and networking skills with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment as part of a professional team
Ability to analyse and resolve business/regulatory issues and improve processes
Report drafting skills
Content development and delivery of trainings
An organised and flexible approach to work assignments, and an ability to handle a range of priorities and tasks in parallel
