      The Role Responsibilities

      • To monitor the day-to-day processing & customer service activities related to CPC with the primary purpose of meeting service standards.
      • To resolve customer queries/complaints, service-related issues.
      • To ensure compliance of all internal procedures, operational controls and regulatory requirements.
      • To ensure strict compliance of internal procedures in line with the standards laid down as per DOI.

      Responsibilities

      • To provide Trade related Services to Customers and to meet turnaround times as per the Service Level Agreement & productivity standards
      • Responsible for monitoring operational & customer service-related activities of the CPC.
      • Ensure preparation of Returns (Group and Regulatory) and submission of the same within agreed time schedules.
      • Monitoring, timely reporting to Manager, and taking corrective action of irregular items to facilitate early resolution.
      • Comply with internal operating procedures & Key Control Standards
      • To ensure speedy resolution of customer queries & complaints, in accordance with laid down procedures & Quality standards
      • Perform relief function for Officer, Customer Service / Assistant Manager as per requirements.
      • Assist Managers/ Assistant Managers in monitoring all transactions to ensure obligations/payments duly met.
      • Ensure compliance of all policies and procedures issued in relation to money laundering prevention.
      • Ensure strict compliance of Group Sanctions Procedures.
      • Ensure strict implementation of Group Policies on KYC, Group Code of Conduct
      • Ensure timely archival of documents and ensure maintenance of records as per the Group policy.
      • Ensure no operating losses.
      • Escalate issues on timely basis to Unit Managers.
      • To act in complete compliance with the Bank’s Data confidentiality policy at all times which also governs sending of data to external parties over email.
      • To assist Unit Head, Trade services in completion of any projects as assigned from time to time.

      • Record and share stakeholder errors/feedback to better ratio of STP
      • Constantly reviews and improve on service standards and SLA for all trade products.

      • Uses metrics to drive decisions around service delivery improvements
      • Maintains and improve service levels & customer expectations

      • Coordinate and get faster resolution internal stakeholders, and external stake holders.

      • Set appropriate tone and work in collaboration with External Partners and Internal stakeholders.

      • Ensures a no surprises culture – no failed audits
      • Understands market practices, awareness of local regulations, group and business policies, business standard procedures and best practices

      • Timely substantiation of all accounts and reporting to finance
      • Timely escalation of all incidents to appropriate authorities as per reporting framework

      • Ensure timely completion activities which will be Client centric.

      • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.       • Lead the India / Operations CCIB / Trade Operations/ Documentary Trade Team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles. Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.
      • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
      • Perform Team leader role diligently with integrity to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles
      • Comply with FEMA,RBI and all other Regulatory guidelines & requirements at all times.
      • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)

      Our Ideal Candidate

      • Graduate/Post Graduate with minimum 5 years of experience in Documentary Trade.
      • CDCS/CSDG certifications (preferred)
