- Manage low to medium-level (complexity, scale, strategic importance, and visibility) Marketing campaigns supporting advertising, product packaging, store environment, and the weekly ad, under the supervision of a Senior Marketing Project Manager. Campaign teams include Marketing associates representing numerous marketing disciplines.
- Develop detailed project plans using project management principles. This includes schedule development based on an evaluation of campaign inputs, resource assignments, and management of all supporting information and deliverables within the project management system.
- Lead campaign initiation and execution, fostering collaboration between team members, ensuring transparency through effective communication, facilitating planned and ad-hoc team meetings, and identifying and mitigating risks in order to complete campaigns on strategy, on time, and on budget. For higher level campaigns, a Senior Marketing Project Manager provides guidance and support.
- Foster effective team dynamics of trust, respect, and accountability through strong professional relationships and a thorough understanding of the campaign strategy and line of business being supported.
- Assist Marketing Project Managers and Senior Marketing Project Managers with campaign administration including data integrity, schedule maintenance and serve as support on campaign management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Mass Communications or equivalent experience
- Two years in a project management or related support role
- Associate’s degree in a business related field or equivalent experience
- One year in a project management or related support role
- Verbal Communication: The ability to orally present and express ideas and information clearly, politely, and concisely, in a manner appropriate to the audience.
- Written Communication: The ability to prepare clear, accurate, understandable, and professional written text in English, using appropriate level of detail for the intended audience, and following the basic rules of spelling, grammar, and punctuation to convey information. This may include e-mail, communications for associates, reports, and professional or general correspondence.
- Project Management: The ability to set priorities, plan and coordinate work activities, schedule staff, and obtain and manage resources so that work objectives are accomplished on time and within budget.
- Building Relationships: The ability to develop and maintain professional, trusting, positive, and productive working relationships with associates, managers, customers, and vendors. This includes being approachable and taking time to address concerns; presenting your point of view in a professional manner; treating others with respect and dignity and expressing empathy and compassion when dealing with the needs and problems of others.
- Influence and Persuasion: The ability to persuade, convince or achieve buy-in from others. This includes having the desire to have a specific impact or effect on others in making a point or convincing them to take action.
- Flexibility/Adaptability: The ability and willingness to adjust one's style or approach in response to differing circumstances or to work in ambiguous situations. This includes being open to change and new information; adapting behavior and work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, priorities, procedures or unexpected obstacles; and adjusting rapidly to new situations warranting attention and resolution.
- General knowledge of Publix Marketing hierarchy, processes, and procedures
- General knowledge of marketing disciplines and principles

As an Associate Marketing Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing low to medium-level marketing campaigns under the oversight of a Senior Marketing Project Manager. The Associate Marketing Project Manager uses general project management knowledge and planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills to guide the execution of assigned workload. Throughout the year, the Associate Marketing Project Manager maintains accountability for communicating key project deliverables, building stakeholder relationships, and being solutions-oriented to continuously mitigate risks impacting project execution.
