Learning and capacity-building is a key ingredient of our success. Job Overview This role includes an individual to manage the information flow to enable flawless execution of Supply Chain. This role requires an individual to set up the Raw & Finished materials and the Bill of Materials in SAP which will provide visibility to Supply and Demand. An Individual should be effective in communication to connect different stakeholders, several business teams/groups in the US. Job Responsibilities 95% of Time Operational Excellence • Work on simple/single layer BOM creation and Maintenance for assigned platforms/businesses • Update product characteristics/attributes in SAP (Unit of measure, purchase group, price, Shipping information, etc.) • Execute Material set up process • Manage exceptions to the process • Learn and execute knowledge on General Mills planning systems and internal process tools (SAP ERP, gPLM(Global Product Lifecycle Management), GTM(Go to Market) tools and sharepoint workflows etc.) • Provide regular communication updates on key performance metrics to the business stakeholders • Learn and execute assigned activities/desk work as per business requirement. • Work on gPLM and GTM reconciliation • Work collaboratively with U.S. supply chain partners to gather the needed information to support the governance of planning processes 5% of Time Organizational Effectiveness and Career development • Support any team initiatives that you may be asked to • Participate in formal Logistics training • Participate in Supply Chain Competencies Training Desired Profile Education Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors Preferred Degree Requirements: Bachelors Experience Minimum years of related experience required: 0-2 Preferred years of related experience: 0-2 Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed Occupational skills • Good understanding of Supply Chain Domain knowledge • Understanding of Basic Excel Professional Skills • Strong Self-Management & Time Management • Strong Verbal & Written Communication Leadership skills Continuous improvement mindset Competencies/Behaviors required for job • Learning Agility – Shows curiosity and passion to learn new things • Integrity - Engenders trust at all levels; Do the right things all the times. • Delivering outstanding results: Delivers on short- and long-term commitments by adhering to timeliness. • Interpersonal effectiveness: Develops good relationships with those up, down and across the organization.
