      Director, Head of Investor Diligence

      Department Overview

      The Product Specialist (“PS”) Team creates, updates and disseminates all information, messaging and materials for investor communications initiatives and assists Marketing in developing information, messaging and communications materials for other audiences. The PS Team works with Firm leadership, the other Investor Partners Group (“IPG”) Teams, Direct Lending, Broadly Syndicated Loans, Structured Finance, Fund Accounting and Compliance to create and disseminate information that is timely, accurate, on-brand and on-message. In addition, the PS Team assists Business Development in technical discussions with potential and current investors. The PS Team also frequently develops and / or presents content for investor-oriented presentations, panels and speaking opportunities.

      Position Responsibilities

      The candidate will be responsible for supporting IPG’s sales and client service efforts.

      Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

      • Contributing to IPG’s fundraising success by responding to investor diligence requests and providing supporting data and materials as needed
      • Supporting a reliable, scalable and forward-thinking process for answering investor questions, including Requests for Proposals (“RFPs”), Due Diligence Questionnaires (“DDQs”) and other internal and external communications
      • Maintaining the team’s content management system (RFPIO) and collaborating with subject-matter experts to ensure content is regularly reviewed and updated (or retired)
      • Updating and managing the diligence materials library and developing compelling, client-friendly materials that distinguish the Firm from its competitors
      • Forming relationships with key partners across the Firm to understand and clearly respond to product inquiries
      • Becoming an expert on Golub Capital products and developing a deep understanding of private credit

      Candidate Requirements

      Qualifications & Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree required
      • 1+ year of experience at a financial institution, investment manager or similar business; previous experience with RFPs and DDQs
      • Experience with RFPIO or a similar system is a plus
      • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
      • Outstanding attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
      • Ability to take initiative and work independently while demonstrating strong collaboration
      • Ability to multi-task, problem solve and adapt to changing priorities
      • Ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

      Compensation and Benefits

      For New York Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $110,000 to $140,000 for an Associate and $90,000 to $110,000 for an Analyst. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an ‘at-will position’ and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.
