      Associate Electrical Engineer – Buildings – AKL or WLGTN

      Aurecon is an advisory, engineering and design consultancy. In Aotearoa our Buildings is comprised of just under 180 Kiwis across our offices. We’re a multi-disciplinary team working across complex, commercial projects to contribute to our communities.

      Currently we’re working on Healthcare, Educational, Sports and Mission Critical Projects. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join us across any of our offices; Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch or Tauranga.

      What’s the mahi?

      This role will steer our Electrical team from a leadership and delivery perspective. You will work alongside two of our Electrical leaders as we navigate this period of growth and leverage off it to secure a forward workload of projects.

      • Lead the strategy and design of complex solutions to solve clients’ technical problems
      • Role model leadership – we have a technically competent team of Electrical Engineers who have a family-like culture, across the offices
      • Work with our leadership team to set and direct our vision around our business objectives
      • Relationships – manage existing relationships, and build new relationships

      • A proven track record in detailed design delivery across; commercial, government, health and private sector clients
      • Confidence in working in bid preparation, winning work and client liaison
      • Advanced commercial acumen, a flair for client management
      • Business Development – the ability to build on your network to grow our business

      • Adaptability and agility – flex between large and small scale business development, in your way of leading and delivering
      • Chartership – hold a current chartership with Engineering New Zealand
