      As an Associate within the QDRO/QMCSO/POA Group of Pension Outsourcing, you will work with consultants and senior consultants in administering Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs), Qualified Medical Child Support Orders (QMCSOs) and Power of Attorney (POA) documents for Fortune 1000 and other non-profit organizations. As a key team member responsible for work product, and oversight of workflow, you will be working directly on client projects in support of broad client engagements.

      The Role

      You will contribute as part of a team to the entire range of QDRO/QMCSO/POA outsourcing services and projects. You will work with mid and senior consultants as well as interface with clients to answer questions, resolve issues and complete projects.

      In this role you will:

      • Enhance your expertise in all aspects of QDRO/QMCSO/POA rules
      • Administer QDRO/QMCSO/POA services
      • Enhance your expertise in project management of these services
      • Assist in management of specialized QDRO/QMCSO/POA Call Center
      • Assist in updating and creation of process documentation materials
      • Manage and coach team to ensure progress against established budgets, timelines and quality standards
      • Serve as primary, daily contact to clients on delivery of services
      • Respond to and resolve complex issues, including those escalated by less experienced Analysts
      • Review work and deliverables of Analysts
      • Raise issues as appropriate to Consultants/Senior Consultants
      • Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations
      • Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes
      • Develop and train less experienced Analysts
      • Employ Towers Watson’s Professional Excellence tools and concepts to ensure efficient and quality output/service delivery
      • Adhere to plan documents and government regulations in administering plans
      • Maintain complete and accurate work papers and audit trails

      Qualifications

      The Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree
      • Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of defined benefit and/or defined contribution (401(k)) plans design
      • Prior experience in professional services firm, benefits service center or legal environment a plus
      • Well organized with exceptional attention to detail
      • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Professional, client-focused approach to colleagues and assignments
      • Ability to organize, set priorities, work independently and complete multiple projects within established deadlines
      • Natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

      Compensation and Benefits

      Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

      Compensation

      The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $70,000-$80,000 USD.

      This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
