      Associate Pharmacy Technician at Providence Medford Medical Center. This posting represents a 1.0 FTE, variable shift opening with potential coverage of overnight on rotation.

      Extra Incentives:

      • Evening shift differential – $1.75 p/hr
      • Night shift differential – $3.50 p/hr
      • $5,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment

      The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system.

      Performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Providence Mission, Vision and Values.

      Required Qualifications:

      • H.S. Diploma or GED
      • Upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician Or
      • Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Coursework/Training and Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program
      • Inpatient experience.
      • Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR)
