Job summary
Associate Practice Education Facilitator, 37.5 hours fixed term maternity cover till July 2026, some cross site working is required.
Are you an enthusiastic AHP, Nurse or Midwife ready for a new challenge? Are you experience and confident in supervising students in practice?An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Practice Development Team to support the development and implementation of our practice education priorities at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be joining an award winning team comprising of Practice Development Leads for clinical skills, apprenticeships and preceptorship. Practice Education Facilitators, Clinical Education Coordinators, Clinical Educators, Practice Development Trainers and administrative staff. The Practice Development team support staff and learners in developing essential skills required in practice and support high quality clinical placements for pre-registration students and apprentices. We have a unique opportunity for an experienced and motivated registered health care professional who is passionate about pre-registration education to join the team as an Associate Practice Education Facilitator.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality multi-professional learning environments and will be required to work locally within services and organisations where inter-professional learning opportunities can be promoted. We expect you to have a clear commitment to the education of healthcare professionals and possess excellent leadership, communication, change management and organisational skills. You must also have the ability to inspire and enthuse a wide range of staff and students. You must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment and be willing to go that extra mile to enhance the learning culture for our staff. The post-holder will work office hours across multiple Trust sites working in collaboration with staff, learners and partner organisations. You will also be supported to access relevant professional development opportunities. The post holder will be required to support the breadth of the student experience, which may require cross boundary working. Key external partners include:o Health Education Englando HEI's o Locality based Service Providers - local Trusts and the Private, Voluntary and Independent Sector
