Job summary
North West London Pathology (NWLP) is a partnership between Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Chelsea & Westminster NHS Trust and The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Trust. The partnership represents a new model for delivering pathology testing in a modern, efficient operation that manages 25 million tests per year. Our services are delivered at six hospital sites across North West London.
We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly and dedicated Infection & Immunity team based at Charing Cross Hospital.

The job holder will be required to work out of hours and weekends.
Main duties of the job
Processing of routine patient samples for Virology & Immunology and to assist with processing of samples for interferon gamma release assays. General laboratory housekeeping and ongoing record keeping, contributing to the maintenance of the Quality Management Sytem (to ensure the laboratory meets Accreditation standards) and Health and Safety in the laboratory. Additional special responsibilities may be offered as required.

NWLP Induction
The NWLP induction will run on the first Monday of each month (provided it does not fall on a bank holiday) and includes laboratory training (for relevant laboratory roles). All new staff must attend the NWLP induction during their first week with NWLP.
