      As our team is expanding, multiple Associate Process Supporter positions are opening. Are you a newly or recently graduated engineer, biochemist or similar with a can-do attitude and great problem-solving skills? Now is your opportunity to join a recently established team, where you will be able to improve and exercise your cooperation and analytical skills. This job will require a lot of agility and ability to adapt to new and everchanging situations. This is your chance to work with exciting tasks, supporting the set-up of innovative systems and processes involved in purification of APIs at production scale.

      The position

      As an Associate Process Engineer/Scientist, you will be joining a project that is ramping up, so there will be opportunities to influence your own tasks by weighing-in and taking responsibility for your work. You will support getting the equipment up and running and validating the process. After this initial phase, you will become a part of our normal production team, with responsibility for a specific part of the process.

      The main tasks will be to:

      • Support daily operations and maintaining stable processes in an advanced and automated manufacturing setup.

      • Work with production challenges, validating processes and implementing projects

      • Optimize standards, develop and improve workflows

      This position is a great opportunity to become knowledgeable about API purification processes and automated systems in manufacturing through a complex value chain. It is key that you have a mindset, where you can see through challenges, propose solutions, and figure out a way to resolve them.

      Qualifications

      Tou succeed in this role, you have:

      • A master's or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Scientific area e.g. Chemistry, Pharmacy or similar.

      • 2 years of relevant experience after graduating. But as we are hiring for multiple positions, we can adjust the role according to experience.

      • GxP and LEAN experience is an advantage.

      • You have strong communication skills both in spoken and written English

      When delivering your work and results, you are comfortable using tools and systems like Excel, PowerPoint and Visio with ease and impact. Knowledge within automation systems for production will be a plus.

      You take full ownership of your tasks and complete your work within the given timeframe, and you are always structured and systematic in your work. Your natural curiosity will be crucial to your success, as well as your skills in coordinating and collaborating efficiently throughout the organisation.

      About the department

      We are expanding our capacity to increase production of Novo Nordisk’s current and future oral and injectable products by establishing a new and ground-breaking biotech facility in Kalundborg. We embrace new technologies and we’re building a purification factory with a strong focus on digitalisation, automation and robotics. You will be joining one of the following teams: Chemistry and Dissolution or Separation bays, including filtration steps and chromatography steps, which are all part of Process Support. Both teams will continue to expand over the coming years. You will be collaborating closely with colleagues with backgrounds in chemistry, engineering, project management, automation and facility planning.
