What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in analyzing legal research and litigation workflows to understand user needs and how generative AI can assist with specific tasks
- Support the implementation of automated evaluation frameworks and track key metrics
- Assist with the creation and organization of datasets needed for auto-evaluation and coordinate automated testing
- Work closely with product managers, research scientists, and engineers to document requirements and user stories
- Communicate feature status, progress against requirements, and potential risks to the team and stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- J.D. from an accredited law school with a strong understanding of legal research methods
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field such as associate attorney, law clerk, or legal technology
- Strong interest in artificial intelligence, particularly generative AI
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in product management or direct experience as an Associate Product Manager
- Basic programming knowledge or prior AI experience
- Familiarity with evaluation metrics and data quality concepts
