      Job Description:

      The Department of Chemistry at the University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY), seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the Associate Professor rank in Analytical Chemistry. One of the preferred research focuses of the position is Forensic Chemistry. The new hire is expected to enhance the existing strengths of the Chemistry Department (https://www.albany.edu/chemistry) and establish collaborations in Chemistry, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Engineering & Applied Sciences.

      Applicants must address their ability to work with and instruct a culturally diverse population. The position will offer a competitive salary, start-up package, and research space with access to state-of-the-art facilities housed in the Chemistry, ETEC, Albany Artificial Intelligence Supercomputing Initiative, and the Life Sciences Research buildings.

      Professional Rank and Salary Range: Associate Professor, 10 months
