Assess companies/compounds for potential acquisition

Shape and driving direction and progress of the integration project(s) within Biostatistics and Data Management

Orchestrate all activities in Biostatistics or Data Management related to acquisition of a company/compound (hand on assessment, integration scenarios and implementation)

Drive all integration efforts in connection with in-licensing of clinical programmes and/or acquisition of other companies

Work closely with the receiving area within the Development organisation to ensure a holistic and realistic forward looking perspective on an asset of interest

Successful project management experience from leading cross functional projects

Strong analytic mindset with ability to identify the critical path and the parameters critical for value creation with ability to design and drive an assessment process and future project plans

Medicinal product (drug or device) development understanding and knowledge on the drug development and life cycle management process, preferably from leading project teams through substantial parts of the product development life cycle

Knowledge of the commercialisation of pharmaceuticals

Business planning skills – knowledge/experience with project planning tools and processes

Documented ability to create strong professional networks including external collaborations

The position
As Associate Project Director in Data Science you will, together with the receiving therapy area, be responsible for driving the integration of new companies/compunds into Data Science, namely Biostatistic and Data Management and supporting with the assessment of external assets and/or companies for in-licensing, partnering or acquisition. The asset can range from a therapeutic development candidate to a drug delivery device, or from a diagnostic tool to a digital solution with potential to support the Development organisation.

In addition, you will be tracking and reporting progress of the integration efforts to senior stakeholders in collaboration with the Data Science and External Affairs team. A key aspect of the role will be to represent Data Science when working with the deal team and other relevant parties.
You will be based in Søborg, DK or Boston, US. Occasional traveling is expected in connection with the job.
Qualifications
You have an academic degree such as a master’s degree, or even a Ph.D. combined with several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a thorough understanding of the R&D value chain. You have strong interpersonal skills, and documented experience with building and leading teams.

The team consist of engaged self-driven experts with a diversity of scientific backgrounds, such as IT, data science and statistics, and in-depth knowledge across Biostatistics and Data Management processes, regulatory requirements, Health Technology Assessments (HTA), innovation, automation, digitalization tools and strategy development.
