- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Develop detailed work plans, cost/benefit analyses, schedules, and test plans
- Manage change management, communication, and risk mitigation strategies
- Determine staffing needs and define team member responsibilities
- Direct team activities, conduct project meetings, and manage cross-functional collaboration
- Track vendor deliverables and oversee third-party integrations
- Monitor project performance, timelines, and budgets; adjust plans as needed
- Lead the integration of requirements and resolve issues
- Present project status, issues, and decisions clearly to leadership
- Coordinate work across multiple teams and physical locations
- Facilitate meetings and promote productive use of time
- Support clear communication and timely decision-making
- Independent and self-motivated work style
- Strong change management experience including training and job aid creation

- Proven project coordination or management experience
- Ability to work effectively with senior staff and executives
- Experience presenting project issues and solutions clearly to stakeholders
- Prior IT project management experience
- PMP certification
- BA/BS in Management, Computer Science, IS Management, or related field

Job Summary:
The Associate Project Manager will support project planning and execution for a major utility organization. This hybrid role requires onsite presence 1–2 days weekly in Stockton or nearby locations and involves leading cross-functional teams, supporting change management, and ensuring timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
