- Assist the Senior Director of Enrollment Services (Registrar) to manage the overall day-to-day operations of assigned function.
- Provide leadership and supervision of assigned college division or function.
- Develop and implement goals and objectives in coordination with senior management.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement projects, programs and/or initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of policies and procedures to ensure consistency.
- Prepare, analyze, and provide reports on enrollment service and registration processes, as requested.
- Implement new technology and better leverage existing systems as required.
- Supervise, advise, and evaluate assigned staff, as required.
- Serve as liaison between college departments, vendors, government agencies and/or other external organizations.
- Assist the Senior Director of Enrollment Services (Registrar) with planning, organizing, staffing, coordinating, and evaluating the centralized functions within the Registrar’s office and Enrollment Services centers.
- Develop, review, and maintain policies and processes to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Stay current on legislative changes that impact the college and assist the Registrar in partnering with departments and program areas when there is a need or opportunity to respond to pending legislation.
- Generate, compile, and review student data for external compliance reporting.
- Responsible for the management of the technological aspects of the Registrar’s unit including enhancing existing technologies to support office functions and exploring new technologies to address emerging needs.
- Maintain the reporting calendar to ensure on time reporting.
- Provide leadership and supervision for internal data requests.
- Responsible for the management of National Student Clearinghouse data file submission and edits.
- Assist with Banner semester start-up operations, including (compliance, enrollment, and refund dates; college academic calendar timelines; and updated MHEC approved degree and certificate information.
- Assist with the graduation completion approval process in accordance with academic policy, procedures, and coordination of Commencement.
- Provide leadership and supervision for the centralized grade function.
- Provide leadership and supervision for the academic course scheduling and event scheduling functions.
- Provide leadership and supervision for the college catalog function.
- Serve as the Registrar’s unit point of contact for data security matters.
- Assist with the implementation of new technologies and maintenance of existing systems, including Banner, DegreeWorks, Acalog, R25 Live, Quottly document imaging.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in student academic records (e.g., grades, classes, billing).
- Serve on campus and college-wide committees.
- Assimilate, secure, and protect student information in the student information system according to FERPA regulations.
- Follow CCBC operational compliance standards to maintain data integrity, identity management, data security, and ensure operational compliance.
The Associate Registrar provides oversight and guidance for the day-to-day operations of the assigned functions. The Associate Registrar is responsible for developing and reviewing policies and processes to ensure federal and state regulations compliance, and ensures that procedures comply with data integrity, security, and identity management policies.
Compensation within the above posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
For Best Consideration please apply by August 24, 2023.Master’s degree required; six (6) years of fulltime experience in compliance or a registrar’s office that includes a minimum of three (3) of those years as a supervisor, Experience in data analysis, reporting, and working in a student module/registration system (Banner preferred) required. Experience with state, external agency, and college regulations (MHEC, AACRAO, FERPA) that govern academic and enrollment policies required.
