      Position Specific Description

      The Revenue Team Associate Analyst (RTAA) will be responsible for the settlement of NEER/NEP purchase power agreements through preparation, processing and reconciliation of invoices and may also include assisting with FPL qualified facilities (QF) and wholesale settlements (WHB). This position will help automate the invoice processing for all contracts that fall within the above-mentioned activity. The RTAA will also be responsible for manually calculating and invoicing assets that were not economically feasible to automate, monitor meter read quality/completeness daily leading up to an invoice cycle and correct issues prior to month end close. The RTAA will participate in asset/contract onboarding for their assigned contracts for both new builds and repowers; which includes contract review and Imali GENPPA deal entry used for invoicing. The RTAA will assist with the creation of the business requirements that will be submitted to the IT team for development/automation and will work closely with the IT team in ensuring the successful completion of these projects. Use analytical skills/resources to resolve discrepancies and/or improve processes.

      Skills required: Knowledge of accounting processes for the revenue function and process improvement mindset. Extreme attention to detail. Good teamwork, ability to interact with a cross section of business units and levels in the organization to come to accurate/agreed upon results. Skills knowledge of NEER/NEP contracts, FPL QF/WHB contracts, metering and financial systems (SAP/Phoenix/Imali/MV90/Zema/SCADA/PowerPivot). Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

      SOX controlled processes experience
      Six sigma or process improvement experience
      Invoice processing experience

      Job Overview

      Job Duties & Responsibilities

      • Monitors settlement data for quality/completeness daily leading up to an invoice cycle and works closely with IT to correct issues prior to month end close
      • Calculates and invoices settlements manually that are not economically feasible to automate
      • Reads and understands assigned contracts so that settlement calculations are invoiced accurately and timely

      • Conducts monthly estimate to actual variance analyses
      • Assists with various projects to automate settlement calculations
