Review incoming documents from our merchants for accuracy and compliance. This will include reviewing and analyzing fraud trends as they arise and communicating them to management.
Review merchant processing to identify unusual processing that would indicate potential fraud or expose the company to undue risk.
Review and analyze eCheck.Net transaction processing to ensure compliance with Nacha guidelines.
Monitor merchant processing for chargebacks and respond quickly to any issues that could indicate a large risk exposure.
Monitor all Authorize.net and Cybersource gateway accounts for card testing and implement measures necessary to halt activity.
Interact with merchants professionally on sensitive issues involving risk and funding reserves.
Thoroughly describe and document your work by notating all of our systems correctly and efficiently.
Assist Sales Representatives and Account Management with customer inquiries requiring explanation of specific credit and risk policies and decisions related to those policies.
Accurately resolve cases in Microsoft Dynamics and escalate to other departments when necessary.
Perform persistent merchant monitoring to review accounts that have exceeded their monthly processing limits, have suspicious activity, abnormal transaction amounts, and/or accounts flagged by our acquiring partners needing review.
Review and research reports from third-party vendors designed to alert us to potential money or transaction laundering.
Ability to quickly adapt to changing fraud trends and learn new processes designed to protect the company from risk-related losses.

Job Description
The Associate Risk Support Analyst will be an integral part of our Bundled Acquiring Operations Group and will be responsible for supporting the business needs and risk compliance of our growing merchant base. As an Associate Risk Support Analyst, you will be reviewing new and existing merchant and eCheck.Net accounts for potential fraud and/or risk exposure. In this role you will serve as a key point of contact between Sales, Merchants and our Acquiring Partners. You will be expected to review applications and account documents to ensure regulatory compliance, identify fraud and prevent losses. You will need to become an expert on the risk criteria of Authorize.net and its acquiring partners, as well as contribute to the sales process by acting as a knowledgeable resource for Sales Representatives on merchant acquiring requirements.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience
3 plus years of work experience in payments, risk, or underwriting.
High attention to detail with ability to synthesize information from multiple sources for a variety of audiences.
Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with a keen attention to detail. In particular, a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions.
Intermediate to advance level skills in MS Excel and Word.Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 58,300.00 to 74,400.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
