- Lead and oversee discovery projects in immunology, inflammation, and autoimmune diseases, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Develop and implement strategies to advance immunology research and therapeutic discovery
- Create processes for evaluating and prioritizing innovative concepts in line with company objectives
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships with external research entities
- Monitor and evaluate external collaborations to ensure successful outcomes
- Collaborate with internal R&D, translational, and clinical teams to identify scientific opportunities
- Promote a culture of scientific excellence and innovation through cross-disciplinary collaboration
- Ph.D. or M.S. in biology, immunology, or a related field, with extensive relevant experience
- At least 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a successful drug development track record
- Proven experience managing innovation initiatives and external partnerships
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex scientific information effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders

About This Role:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Associate Director to lead internal innovation initiatives and foster external collaborations in immunology. This role involves identifying and managing research opportunities, promoting cross-functional innovation, and establishing strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and industry collaborators. The ideal candidate will have a strong immunology background, research strategy expertise, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Required Skills:
The salary range for this role is $160,000 – $220,000, determined based on skills, experience, location, and internal equity. Employees are eligible for incentives, including bonuses and equity, aligned with performance.
