- Ph.D. in Biological Science or related field
- Three years experience
- Conduct research on Alzheimer’s disease using:
- Postmortem human brain tissue
- Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)
- Animal models
- Bioinformatics tools
- Collaborate with the Genomics Department on spatial transcriptomics projects
- Perform target validation studies using iPSCs
- Design and conduct experiments with scientific rigor and reproducibility
- Maintain and assist with mouse colony management
- Execute bioinformatics, biochemical, and molecular biology experiments
- Draft and contribute to scientific manuscripts
- Performs other related duties.
Join our team to study the neurobiology of Alzheimer’s disease in Ana Pereira’s Laboratory. This position involves working with postmortem human brain tissue, iPSCs, bioinformatics tools, and animal models to identify and validate novel therapeutic targets for neurodegeneration
