What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor security alerts and assist in triaging suspicious activity using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools
- Collaborate with senior analysts to investigate potential threats and support incident response efforts
- Participate in regular threat hunting and vulnerability review exercises to identify and mitigate risks
- Support day-to-day operations of security tools like Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and access management systems
- Help document and maintain security processes, procedures, and playbooks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT-related fields (internships, projects, or certifications are a plus)
- Familiarity with basic security concepts such as threat detection, malware, phishing, and incident response
- Exposure to SIEM, EDR, or other security tools (academic or hands-on experience is helpful)
- Solid understanding of networking and operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux)
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a problem-solving mindset
