- U ndergraduate degree in Management Information Systems, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related discipline with a graduation date of June 2025 or earlier and / or
- Workforce training certifications with a graduation date of June 2025 or earlier
- Ability to start full-time with the program on June 9 , 202 5
- Basic understanding of IT systems and familiarity with the product development lifecycle
- Familiarity with basic networking functionality, distributed systems, or both
- Experience with observability applications including Grafana, Prometheus, and / or InTune is a plus
- Passion and interest in solving problems , applying innovation , and experimentation
- Strong analytical skills, collaboration, and a passion for system reliability

The Associate Service Support will play a critical role in ensuring Schwab’s systems and applications run efficiently. Primary responsibilities include monitoring, analysis, and optimization of system performance to ensure the health and reliability of IT infrastructure and applications. You will work with observability tools to collect and interpret logs, metrics, and traces, and partner with development and operations teams to enhance system performance and reliability through effective observability practices.

This full-time role will also take par t in the nine-month NERD (New Employee Recruitment and Development) program that blends on-the-job experience with an extensive training curriculum that covers tools, technologies, processes, and soft skills required to be successful at Charles Schwab . By pairing the curriculum, on-the-job experience, and a web-of-support from others, NERDs are well prepared to succeed in their role which sets the table for future opportunities at Schwab.
