What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor security channels, dashboards, reports, and ticketing systems for potential security events
- Follow procedures to triage security alerts and determine escalation needs
- Log and maintain detailed case notes for all investigations
- Assist in identifying false positives and improving detection accuracy
- Learn threat hunting techniques and contribute to service improvement by providing feedback
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience
- Basic understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure devices
- Familiarity with foundational cybersecurity concepts and tools is a plus
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong desire to build a career in cybersecurity and ability to work in a team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as Security+, Network+, CCNA, or similar
